SAFETY EYEWEAR & HEARING PROTECTION
Safety eyewear & hearing protection are not one-size-fits-all items. Eyewear and hearing protection need to be properly fitted to the person and the job, allowing for maximum protection against a wide range of eye and ear health hazards in the workplace.
Hearing Protection
It is an employer’s responsibility to provide hearing protection when it’s not practicable to reduce noise levels.
Depending on your work environment and hearing needs, our hearing professionals will help you determine the most appropriate hearing protection for your specific situation.
Safety Eyewear
Crystal Vision & Better Hearing offers personalized safety eyewear with the highest quality frames & lenses. We provide you with eyewear that satisfies Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards to keep your employees safe and reduce liability for your company.
Sight Testing
Crystal Vision & Better Hearing is one of the only optical offices that offers free sight testing! A sight test can determine your eyeglass prescription by relying on a combination of computerized tests and automated equipment.
A quick overview of our safety program
The program works according to these five simple steps:
- An authorization form is signed by a company representative and given to the employee. These forms can be supplied by your company or created custom by us to match your needs.
- The employee visits one of our four Crystal Vision & Better Hearing Centre retail locations and provides the signed authorization form along with a copy of their current prescription for safety eyewear. If an updated prescription is needed, we have an on-site Optometrist in each of our locations.
- Our experts will help the employee choose a frame or ear protection that is right for them and take all necessary measurements or ear molds.
- The order is then processed and ready within 5 -8 business days.
- The employee then picks up the finished product and has them professionally fitted to ensure proper protection and comfort.
